Answer:

diameter of park = 42m

circumference = 22/7 * 420

= 1320 m

Hence, speed = d/t

= 1320/4 = 330 m/min

  • Ram goes for a morning walk in a circular park Daily . He completes one revolution of the park in 4 minutes . find his speed if the diameter of park is 420 m

\large\underline{ \underline{ \sf \maltese{ \: Given:- }}}

  • Time ( t ) = \sf\green{ 4\: minutes}

\qquad {:} \longrightarrow \sf{\sf{4 \: \times \: 60second   }}

\bf \therefore \; Time \; = 240 \; Second

  • Radius ( r ) = \sf\green{ 210m }

  • Final Velocity ( v ) = \sf\green{ ? }

\large\underline{ \underline{ \sf \maltese{ \: Solution:- }}}

\red{\boxed{ \sf \blue{Total \: distance\: covered \: in  \: one \: Revolution:- }}}

\begin{gathered}\begin{gathered}\begin{gathered}: \implies \underline\blue{ \boxed{\displaystyle \sf \bold\orange{\: Distance \: = \: 2\pi \: r  }} }\\ \\\end{gathered}\end{gathered}\end{gathered}

\qquad \quad {:} \longrightarrow \sf{\sf{D \: = \: 2 \:  \times  \:  \frac{22}{7}  \:  \times  \: 210 }}\\ \\

\bf \therefore \; Distance \; covered  \;in \; 1 \; Revolution = 1320m

More to know:-

  • Speed is defined as the rate of change of distance
  • It is a Scalar Quantity.
  • Speed never decreases with time .
  • Speed is measured in \: m \: s^{ - 1}
