we know that, the distance between point P(a,b) and Q(c,d) is :-

• PQ = √{(a - c)² + (b - d)²}

Let his house is denoted by P(6,4) and school is denoted by Q(3,4) .

so,

→ PQ = √[(6 - 3)² + (4 - 4)²]

→ PQ = √[3² + 0²]

→ PQ = √(3)²

→ PQ = 3 units .

then,

→ Distance travelled by ram everyday both ways = 2 * 3 = 6 units .

therefore,

→ Distance travelled by ram in 5 days = 6 * 5 = 30 units (Ans.)
