Ram has 25 balls and 10 bats. He sold 10 balls and 5 bats and bought 10 balls and 15 bats. On his birthday, he received 13 balls and 20 bats out of which he donated 3 balls and 5 bats to the orphanage. What is the total ratio of bats and balls together left with him?​

Answer:

Let cost of one bat be Rs. x

Let cost of one ball be Rs. y

x+2y=300...........(i) Blue line

2x+3y=525...........(ii) Red line

The graphs for the equation are shown in the attached plot.

From graph, solution is x=150,y=75

Hence, cost of one bat is Rs. 150 and cost of one ball is Rs. 75

Cost of one bat and one ball is Rs. 150+Rs. 75=Rs. 225
