Answer :- 7 coins of 5 rupees and 21 coins of 2 rupees.

Explanation :-

Let the 5 ruppes coin be x and 2 rupee coin be 3x respectively,

According to the given statement,

The sum of money is Rs 77.

5x + 3x(2) = 77

5x + 6x = 77 [ Adding 5x and 6x ]

11x = 77

x = 7

Therefore Ram has 7 coins of 5 rupees.

To known no. of 2 rupees coin

We know that 2 rupee coin is 3x

Substituing x = 7

3(7)

21

Therefore there are 21 coins of 2 rupees

Verifying the answer :-

It's given that sum of all the rupees is 77

Therefore,

7 × 5 = 35 [ Multiplying no. of coins with the rupees ]

21 × 2 = 42 [ Multiplying no. of coins rupees ]

Adding 35 and 42

32 + 42 = 77

Hence verified.
