Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The present age of Rahim is 16 years and present age of Ram is 26 years.

Solution:

Given that Ram is 10 years older that Rahim.

Let’s assume present age of Rahim’s = x years

So 10 year older ram’s age = x + 10 years

Age of rahim after four years = present age of Rahim + 4= x + 4

Age of ram after four years = present age of ram + 4 = x + 10 + 4 = x + 14

As after four years twice Ram's age will be equal to thrice Rahim's age,

=>2 x (x + 14) = 3 x (x + 4)

=> 2x +28 = 3x + 12

=> 3x – 2x = 28 – 12

=> x = 16 years

So present age of Rahim = x = 16 years

And present age of Ram = x + 10 = 16 + 10 = 26 years.

Ram's Age is 19 and Rahim's Age is 9. Ram is 10 yrs older than Rahim.

Given next year ram's age will be twice as much as Rahim's.

So, 19 + 1 = 20

9 + 1 = 10

Therefore Rams age is twice as Much as Rahim's age
