then Ram age will be x+3

6 years ago age of
Shyam x-6
Ram x+3-6 = x-3

x-3 = 4(x-6)
x-3 = 4x-24
x-4x = -24+3
-3x = -21
x = -21/-3
x = 7

so age of
Shyam = x = 7 years
Ram = x+3 = 7+3 = 10 years
