Answer:

.let the age of ram be x

and the age of shyam be y

.so according to questions -

.x=y+5 => x-y-5=0 take this equation 1

.and second - after 4 year later

(x+4) = (y+4)2

x+4= 2y+8

=x-2y-4=0 take this second equation

now eliminate eq.1 &2

y=1 and x=6.

Question

Ram Is 5 year younger than shyam 4 years later shyam will be twice as old as ram.Find Their Present Age.

Answer

Shyam's present age = 6 years

Ram's present age = 1 year

Explaination

Let Shyam's present age be x years .

Ram's present age = (x-5) years

4 years later ,

Shyam's age => (x+4) years

Ram's age = [(x-5)+4] years

=> (x-1) years

Shyam will be twice as old as Ram after four years....

A.T.Q ,

=> x+4 = 2 (x-1)

=> x+4 = 2x - 2

=> 4+2 = 2x - x

=> x = 6 years

Shyam's age = x years

=> 6 years

Ram's age = x-5 years

= 6-5 years

=> 1 year
