Salary spent on entertainment = 10/100 × x

⇒ Salary spent on entertainment = Rs. 0.1x

Salary spent on conveyance = 10/100 × x

⇒ Salary spent on conveyance = Rs. 0.1x

Total expenditure of Ram = 0.4x + 0.2x + 0.1x + 0.1x

⇒ Total expenditure of Ram = Rs. 0.8x

Savings of Ram = Salary - Expenditure
