Given : Ram lent 3 persons A, B and C at the rate of 15%,12% and 10% respectively.  he gets 960 at the end of year then find the amount lent to A?

To Find :    amount lent to A?

Solution:

SI = P * R * T /100

Question lakes lot of details

A * 15*1/100 + B*12*1/100 + C*10*1/100 = 960

=>  A(0.15) + B(0.12) + C(0.1)  = 960

One equation 3 Variables:

Not Possible to solve

Assume Amount lent Equal to Each person = P

Then interest = P( 15 + 12  + 10) * 1/100 = 960

=> P = 96000/37

=> P = 2,594.6

Amount lent to each person =  2,594.6

Amount lent to A  = 2,594.6

if interest earned equaled from each

= 960/3 = 320

=> P * 15 * 1 / 100 = 320

=> P = 2,133.33

Amount lent to A  = 2133.33
