Answer:

Rs. 48.71

Step-by-step explanation:

Question is Incomplete . We have to find at what rate he should sell remaining bags so that he would get profit of 9% on whole transaction ?

According to the information given, bags remaining = 9 - 3 - 2 = 4

Let the 4 bags be sold with p% profit.

Now % gain or loss on the whole lot = sum of product of gain or loss % s with their respective quantities.

∴ 9% of 9 Bags of Rs. 45 each = 20% of 3 Bags of Rs. 45 each - 6% of 2 Bags of Rs. 45 each +

p% of 4 Bags of Rs. 45 each

⇒ (9/100) × 9 × 45 = {(20/100) × 3 × 45} - {(6/100) × 2 × 45} + {(p/100) × 4 × 45}

⇒ 9 × 90 = (20 × 30) - (6 × 20) + (p × 40)

∴ p = 8.25%

∴ Selling Price = 108.25/100 × 450 = Rs. 48.7125 ≈ Rs. 48.71
