GIVEN :-

Total number of pages in book = 300 pages.

SOLUTION :-

No. of pages which he read in first day=(2/5 of total book)

= 2/5 (300) pages

= 2×60

= 120 pages

so He reads 120 pages in first day .

Now no. of remaining pages = 300-120 =180 pages

Now he reads 1/3 rd of remaining in second day

Then 1/3 rd of remaining = 1/3×180=60 pages

Now remaining pages = 180 -60=120 pages

And last in 3rd day he finished the book.

Hence no. of pages he read in 3rd day = 120 pages

Answer:

Adjectives are words that describe nouns (or pronouns). "Old," "green," and "cheerful" are examples of adjectives. (It might be useful to think as adjectives as "describing words.")
