Ram’s mother’s age is 6 times Ram’s present age. Ram’s age 5 years from now will be 1/3rd of the mother’s present age. What are their present ages?​

Let mothers age be x & son's age be y.

x=6y

(x+5)=4(y+5)

⇒(6y+5)=4y+20

⇒6y−4y=20−5

⇒2y=15

⇒y=7.5.
