Given ,

Profit made by Ram = 20%

Profit made by Girish = 10%

Profit made by Sanjay = 12.5%

CP for Aditya = 59.40

To Find :-

CP for Ram

Solution :-

Let CP for Ram be x

Profit made by Ram = 20% of x

=\: {\dfrac{20 \times x}{100}}

=\: {\dfrac{x}{5}}

SP for Ram = x\: +\: {\dfrac{x}{5}}

=\: {\dfrac{5x + x}{5}}

=\: {\dfrac{6x}{5}}

CP for Girish =\: {\dfrac{6x}{5}}

Profit made by Girish = 10% of {\dfrac{6x}{5}}

=\: {\dfrac{10 \times 6x}{5}}

= 12x

SP for Girish = 12x + =\: {\dfrac{6x}{5}}

=\: {\dfrac{60x + 6x}{5}}

=\: {\dfrac{66x}{5}}

CP for Sanjay = =\: {\dfrac{66x}{5}}

Profit made by Sanjay = 12.5% of =\: {\dfrac{66x}{5}}

=\: {\dfrac{125 \times 66x}{10 \times 5}}

= 165x

SP for Sanjay = 165x + =\: {\dfrac{66x}{5}}

=\: {\dfrac{825x + 66x}{5}}

=\: {\dfrac{891x}{5}}

CP for Aditya = =\: {\dfrac{891x}{5}}

Also given that CP for Aditya is 59.40

=>\: 59.40\: =\: {\dfrac{891x}{5}}

=>\: x\: =\: {\dfrac{59.40 \times 5}{891}}

=> x =
