Given : Ram, Shiv and Ganesh assemble for a contributory party. Ram Brings 5 Apples , & Shiv Brings 3 Apples  Ganesh Contributed Rs 8

To Find : Ram and Shiv  get money assuming each of the three consumes an equal portion of the apples

Solution:

To Simplify

Lets make 3 pieces of Each apples

then Ram had  3 * 3 = 9 pcs

& Shiv had = 5 * 3 = 15  Pcs

Total Pcs = 9 + 15 = 24 Pcs

Each person Consumed = 24/3

= 8 Pcs

Hence Ram  gave to Ganesh = 9 - 8 = 1 Pc

& Shiva Gave to  Ganesh = 15 - 8 = 7 pcs

Total pcs given to Ganesh = 8 pcs

Ganesh Gave = Rs 8

Cost for Each pc = 8/8 = 1 Rs

Ram will get = 1 * 1 = 1 Rs

Shiv get = 7 * 1 = 7 Rs

Ran will get Rs 1  & Shiv will get Rs 7

option (a) 1,7  is correct
