Given :- Ram, Shyam and Ruchi start their journey around a circular track of radius 70 meters. If their speeds 11 m/min. 44 m/min and 22 m/min respectively, then how many times they will meet together at starting p in 440 minutes after the start of their journey ?

Answer :-

→ Radius of track = 70 m

so,

→ Length of track = 2 * (22/7) * 70 = 440 m .

now,

→ Speed of ram = 11m/min.

so,

→ Time taken by ram to cover 1 round = 440/11 = 40 minutes .

and,

→ Speed of shyam = 44m/min.

so,

→ Time taken by shyam to cover 1 round = 440/44 = 10 minutes .

and,

→ Speed of ruchi = 22m/min.

so,

→ Time taken by ruchi to cover 1 round = 440/22 = 20 minutes .

then,

→ First time they meet at the starting point after = LCM (40, 10, 20) = 40 minutes .

therefore,

→ Total number of times they meet together at starting point in 440 minutes = 440/40 = 11 Times (Ans.) (4)
