Step-by-step explanation:

C.P. of 1st Laptop = (42,000×100) / (100+15)

= 42,00,000/115

= 36,522

C.P. of 2nd Laptop = (42,000×100) / (100-15)

= 42,00,000/85

= 49,412

Total C.P. = 85,934

Total S.P. = 84,000

Overall Loss or Gain Percent = (1,934×100) /84,000

= 2.3%
