Ram started his bicycle journey from Kohalpur to Dhangadhi at 6:00 a.m. with
an average speed of 20 km/hr.
Two hours later Hari also started his journey from
Kohalpur to Dhangadhi with an average speed of 30 km/hr. At what time would
they meet each other if both of them maintain non-stop journey.

Answer:

Supposed, Ram meets Hari after x hrs.

But Hari meets Ram after (x-2) hrs.

Now, the distance travelled by Ram in x hrs = 20x km

also the distance travelled by Hari in (x-2) hrs = 30(x-2) km

When they travelled the equal distance, they meet each other

so that, 20x = 30(x-2)

       or, 20x = 30x - 60

                  x = 6

They meet after 6 hrs.

Since, Ram started his journey at 6 A.M. So they meet at 12 pm
