Ram took a lemon,2 connecting wires and bulb then he made a circuit in such a way that the one end of both wires were connected to the Bulb the other free end of both the wire is dipped into the lime. State what will happen to the bulb and why?

Answer : The Bulb will start glowing because of the flow of Cation and anions in a closed circuit.
Explanation:
1) Distilled water cannot conduct electricity.
2) Lemon juice has citric acid in it. When lemon juice is added to water, the acid dissociates into anions and cations which are charged particles.
3) Hence they can conduct electricity as these charged particles are able to flow inside the acid.
4) The citric acid in the lemon will be acting as an electrolyte, a solution that can conduct electricity.
5) Hence when when the two wires connected with the bulb is dipped into lime juice the bulb start glowing because of the flow of electric current.
