so, perimeter of circle=44cm

r=44/2(3.14)

r=22/(3.14)

area of circle=(3.14)(7.05)(7.05)

area of circle=156.1 sq. cm

if the wire bent in to the square the the perimeter of the square is length of the wire

so, perimeter of the square = 44cm

4s=44

s=44/4

s=11cm

then the area of the square is (s)(s)

area of the square=(11)(11)

area of the square =121 sq.cm

here area of the square is less than the area of the circle
