Let L be the distance Ram has to travel. T be the time to reach the distance
. At 3 Kmph, Ram will reach the distance in T + 15 minutes
. At 4 Kmph, Ram will reach the distance in T - 15 minutes
The following equations can be set up
L = 3 Kmph * ( T + 15) minutes * 1 hr/ 60 minutes
L = 4 Kmph * ( T - 15 ) minutes * 1 hr/ 60 minutes
Solving the above two equations.
3 ( T + 15) = 4 ( T - 15) ; T = 105 minutes
L = 3 * ( T + 15) / 60 = 6 Kms
The solution is 6 Kms

Answer:
Let the time taken to travel at speeds 3 km/h and 4 km/h be t1
and t2 respectively.
So, t1 - t2 = 15 - (-15) = 30 minutes = 0.5 h
Now, let the distance travelled be = x km
So, (x / 3) - (x / 4) = 0.5
⇨ x = 6 km
