Let the distance be x km

When Speed is 3km/hr, Time taken = x/3 hrs
If Speed is 4km/hr, Time taken = x/4 hrs

In 1st case Ram reaches 15 mins late & in 2nd case he would reach 15 mins early
Diff between the two times = 15+15 = 30 mins = 0.5 hr

(x/3) - (x/4) = 0.5

(4x-3x)/12 = 0.5
x/12 = 0.5
x = 0.5*12 = 6 kms

The distance travel by him = 6kms
