Average Velocity= Sum of velocities/ Number of velocities

=½(40+60)km/h

=½(100)km/h

= 50 km/h

Now we change the unit km/h into m/s.

50 X 1000m/3600 s

=50 X 5m/18s

= (250/18)m/s

= 13.88m/s
