Ram uses an open pen to cook vegetable at a hill station while shyam cook the same vegetable in a pressure cooker at the same place. (i) Explain with reason who will cook vegetable faster. (ii) Mention the reason for delay is cooking. (iii) which value is learn by the student in the classes of cooking food in the presence to cook. (iv) define boiling point of a liquid.

actually ram will take more time bcoz of the open pan vessel.......and we know that at higher altitutes the presssure is low so i the boil temp will be low for water....so the food will boil at lower temp,...and more for cooking time

b-and in the case of pressure cooker the time taken will be same bcoz the pressure remains constant in a pressure cooker

c-ram used a pressure cooker to cook his food. He shows the following values :
Time management : as he saves time by cooking food in pressure cooker and cook food in less time.

2) At hilly regions due to high altitude pressure is low, and since boiling occurs when vapour pressure is equal to atmospheric pressure, water boils very fast as it reaches its boiling point very early even before the food is cooked so to increase pressure for proper cooking pressure cooker is used.

4)The boiling point of a substance is the temperature at which the vapour pressure of the liquid equals the pressure surrounding the liquid(atmospheric pressure).
