Solution :

Let us assume that the cost price of the box is Rs. X

Now , if he sells this for 1500 , he loses 25% .

So, 75% of the cost price of the box is equal to 1500

> 75% of x = 1500

> 75/100 x = 1500

> x/100 = 20

> x = Rs. 2000

Now , he needs to sell this at a price where he will gain 20%

New SP :

> 120% of original CP

> 120% of 2000

> 120/100 × 2000

> 120 × 20

> 2400 .

Thus , Ram should sell the box at Rs. 2400 to get 20% profit.
