The 2886th digit written by ram  is 8.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Ram writes all the numbers from 1 to 1000 on a paper in order.

To Find:

The 2886th digit written by Ram.

Solution:

From 1 to 9  Ram should wright 9 number.

From 10 to 99 each number is write two number.

So there are 90 number  should write double digit so 90 × 2 = 180  numbers Ram should write.

And after that up to 999  Ram should  write 3 digit in each number.

From 2886th digit -9 -180 = 2697th number from 100 number Ram can write.

All numbers are 3 digits so we can divide 2697 from 3 we get 899.

So after 99 there is 899 number Ram can write

That is  899 + 99 = 998

Thus the 2886th digit is 8.

Thus the 2886th digit is 8.
