Rama is thrice as old as Panav. Ten years ago, his age was four times Panav's age. Find their present ages?​

Let, Present age of Panav = x

Present aqe of Rama = 3x

Ten years ago,

Age of Panav = x -10

Age of Rama 3x -10

Also, Rama's age was four times Panav's age.

So,

4(x - 10) = 3x - 10

=> 4x - 40 = 3x - 10

=> 4x - 3x = - 10 + 40

=> x = 30

Present age of Panav 30 years

Present age of Rama = 3x = (3×30) = 90 years

Answer:

Present age of Panav is 30 years and present age of Rama is 90 years.
