Rama is twice as old as Rita was 2 years ago. If the difference of their ages be 2 years , how old is Rama today?

2

1st condition,

-2x+y=2......(1)

2nd condition,

x-y= 2.....(2)

add equation 1&2

-2x + y = 2 + x-y =2

hence by solving it

x =4

age of rama is 4years
