Observation:

Yellow or red color will appear.

Conclusion:

When we add saliva in a solution of starch, it breaks down the disaccharide bonds and converts it to simple glucose molecules.

Saliva contains an enzyme known as Amylase which hydrolyzes the starch molecule.

If Rama put few drops of Iodine in this solution, the only color be seen is the red or yellow color of Iodine.
