Rama start his journey with Velocity of a 20m/s then he accelerated bike by 2m/s for 5 second.find the final velocity​

Given :-

  • Initial velocity (u) = 20m/s
  • Acceleration (a) = 2m/s²
  • Time (t) = 5s

To find :-

  • Final velocity

Solution :-

According to first equation of motion

→ v = u + at

→ v = 20 + 2 × 5

→ v = 20 + 10

→ v = 30m/s

Extra Information

  • s = ut + ½ at² [2nd equation of motion]
  • v² = u² + 2as [3rd equation of motion]

Solution

Initial velocity , u = 20 m/s

Acceleration , a = 2 m/s²

Time , t = 5 s

Final velocity , v = ? m/s

Use 1st equation of motion .

v = u + at

⇒ v = 20 + 2(5)

⇒ v = 20 + 10

v = 30 m/s

So , the final velocity is 30 m/s
