or 8x-5x=3x
or 3x=9000
x=3000

therefore
money Raman has =5x=5*3000
=15000
money Mohah has =8x=8*3000
=24000

then the money Mohan have will be 8x

We are taking x because x is the common factor between the ration 5:8

According to question:

8x-5x=9000
3x=9000
x=9000/3
x=3000

So the money Raman have is 5x =5*3000=15000
then, The money Mohan have is 8x=8*3000=24000
