raman bought 6 1/2 kg of flour and radha bought 15/4 kg of flour. (a) how much flour did they together buy altogether?
(b) who bought more flour and by how much?​

Answer:

Flour bought by Radha = 15/4 = 3.75 kg

Flour bought by Raman = 6 1/2 = 6.5 kg

flour altogether = 6 1/2 + 15/4  = 13/2 + 15/4 = 41/4 = 10.25 kg

So, Raman bought more flour

i.e 6.5 - 3.75 = 2.75 kg more.
