CV raman found that some of the deflected light changes wavelength and intensity as light passes through a transparent material. However, a change in the wavelength of light occurring as molecules scatter a light beam. Most of this scattered light is wavelength unchanged. Nevertheless, a small part has different wavelengths than the incident light, whose  presence is the result of the Raman effect.
