Raman exerts a force of 150 N in pulling a cart at a constant speed of 10m/s. Calculate the power exerted.

P = Wrk / time = (force × displacement) / time. But displacement / time = velocity

therefore, power = force × velocity i:e 150 × 10 = 1500 Watts.

we have v = 10m/s F= 150N
P = w/t
w=Fs
P=Fs/t also v=s/t as constant velocity10
Therefore P=W×v = 10×150 =1500 J
