Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

During the first trip, it is said that he comes back with Rs. 68.7

Clearly, he saved that much.

Now, money spent in the 1st trip is

100 - 68.7

= Rs. 31.3

While in the 2nd trip, he comes back with 165.5, which is what he saves

Now, money spent in 2nd trip is

250 - 165.5

= Rs. 84.5

Total Money saved

= 68.7 + 165.5

= Rs 234.2

Total Money spent

= 31.3 + 84.5

= Rs 115.8

We can verify this as we can see that the total money Raman had = 100 + 250 = Rs. 350 and the total money

350 = Total money saved + Total money spent

350 = 234.2 + 115.8

350 = 350

LHS = RHS

So our answer is right!!
