Let the flower he offered In Temple is x.

So the remaining flowers are (30 - x)

Now ratio of flowers in beginning and left after offered in temple is.

(30 - x) / 30 = 2 / 5

5(30 - x) = 30*2

150 - 5x = 60

150 - 60 = 5x

5x = 90

x = 90 / 5 = 18

So the no. Of flowers offered in temple is 18.

TOTAL NUMBER OF FLOWER = 30

number of flower offered in temple = x

number of flower offered remain = 30- x

so

RATIO

 \frac{remaning\: flower}{starting \: number\: flower}

=
 \frac{30 - x}{30}  =  \frac{2}{5}
=

5(30 - x)= 60

=
150 - 5x = 60

=
90  = 5x
=

x = 18

SO NUMBER OF FLOWER OFFERED IN
TEMPLE
= 1 8
