Let Raman's age be x

Let Raman's cousin's age be 19 + x

Ages after 5 years

Raju's age = x + 5

His cousin's age = 19 + x + 5 = 24 + x

Ratio of their ages = 2 : 3

Thus we get, \dfrac{x \: + \: 5}{24 \: + \: x} = \dfrac{2}{3}

A/q,

By cross multiplying, we get

3(x + 5) = 2(24 + x)

3x + 15 = 48 + 2x

3x - 2x = 48 - 15

x = 33

Raman's age => x => 33 years

Raman's cousin's age => x + 19 => 33 + 19 => 52 years

\therefore{} The ages of Raman and his cousin are 33 years and 52 years respectively

here is your answer OK

it's very easy OK.......

Lets Raju's cousin's age be x yrs
Raju 's age = x - 19
Ratio between Raju and his cousin = 2 : 3 or 2divide 3
Hence (x - 19) + 5/x + 5 = 2/3
= 5 + x - 5 + 19/x + 5 = 2/3
= 5 + x - 14/x + 5 = 2/3
= 15 + 3x - 42/2x + 10
= - 37 + 3x = 2x+10
= - 37 - 10 = 2x - 3x
= - 47 = - x
= 47 = x = cousin age after 5 yrs=47 + 5 = 52yrs
=  age = 52 - 19 =  33yrs
