Step-by-step explanation:

Raman salary=9600

he spent on food=1/4×9600

=2400

now he have=7200

In this he spent on rent=1/5×7200

=1440

on children's education=1/6×7200

=1200

So now he saves=7200-(1440+1200)

Rs.4560

*Hope this will help you*

Hi,

Given :-

  • Raman's monthly salary = Rs.9600

  • He spends 1/4 of his salary on food

  • And out of the remaining, he spends 1/5 on rent and 1/6 on education.

To Find :-

  • How much does he spend on each part

  • How much money is left with him

Solution :-

\: \: \:\:\: \: \circ \: \underline{\boxed{\red{\scriptsize{ \sf Raman's \:earning\:of\:1\:month\:=\:Rs.\:9600}}}}

He spend 1/4th of his income on food

  • Now 1/4th of Rss.9600 = Rs.2400

  • Remaining money = Rs( 9600 - 2400 )

\orange{\bigstar}\:\:{\underline{\boxed{\bf\red{Rs.\:7200}}}}

Now,

  • 1/5th of remaining money if spent on rent = 1/5 × Rs.7200 = Rs.1440

and

  • 1/6th of remaining money if spent on education = 1/6 × Rs.7200 = Rs.1200

\huge\red{\therefore}Money left with him = Rs ( 7200 - 1440 - 1200 ) = \boxed{Rs.4560}
