Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's raman age = a and sum of sons age =b

a=3b

a+5=2 (b+10) [+ 10 because there are two sons]

a+5=2b+20

a=3b

3b+5=2b+20

b=15

a=3b

a=15×3

a=45

Raman age = 45

Let the age of Raman be x

Let the age of his two sons be y

x=3(y+y)

x=3×2y

x=6y----------(1)

5years after

x+5=2(y+5+y+5)

x+5=2(2y+10)

x+5=4y+20-----------(2)

substitute(1) in (2)

6y+5=4y+20

2y=15

y=15/2

substitute y in (1)

x=6×15/2

x=45

therefore the age of Raman is 45 years.

Hope it helps
