Given: The cost of three balloon shooting games exceeds the cost of four ring games by 4. Also, the cost of three balloon shooting games and four ring games is Rs 20.

To find: The cost of one ring game and one balloon game.

Solution:

Let the cost of one balloon shooting game be x and the cost of one ring game be y. According to the question, the cost of three balloon shooting games exceeds the cost of four ring games by 4. This can be written as an equation as follows.

3x = 4y + 4

3x - 4y = 4

Since the cost of three balloon shooting games and four ring games is 20, the equation for it can be written as follows.

3x+ 4y = 20

The two equations obtained are solved simultaneously and the values of x and y are found to be,

x = 4

y = 2

Therefore, the cost of one ring game is Rs. 2 and one balloon game is Rs. 4.

4x - 3y = -4 and 4x + 3y = 20  is  the pair of linear equation

Given:

  • The cost of three balloon shooting games exceeds the cost of four ring games by 4.
  • The cost of three balloon shooting games and four ring games is Rs 20.
  • Cost on one ring game = x
  • Cost of one Balloon game = y

To Find:

  • Pair of Linear Equations

Solution:

Step 1:

Form an Equation using given condition "The cost of three balloon shooting games exceeds the cost of four ring games by 4"

3y = 4x + 4

Transposing 4 and 3y

-4 = 4x - 3y

Exchanging sides

4x - 3y = -4

Step 2:

Form another Equation using given condition " The cost of three balloon shooting games and four ring games is Rs 20."

3y + 4x = 20

4x + 3y = 20

Step 3:

Hence, Pair of the the linear Equations from the given options is

4x - 3y = -4 and 4x + 3y = 20

Correct option is c)

( However your Question is Incomplete about what to find , but missing information has been added in figure)

Additional Info:

One solving x = 2 , y = 4

Cost on one ring game = 2

Cost of one Balloon game = 4
