2:1  is ratio of the speeds of Ramesh and Satish

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say Speed of  Ramesh = R km/Hr

Speed of Satish = S km/Hr

They meet after  2 hr

Ramesh Travelled = 2R  km

Sathish Travelled = 2S  km

Ramesh has to travel now  2S  km

& Sathish has to travel now  2R  km

=> 2S/R  + 3  =  2R/S

=> 2S²  + 3SR = 2R²

=> 2S² + 4SR - SR - 2R² = 0

=> 2S(S + 2R) - R(S + 2R) = 0

=> (2S - R)(S + 2R) = 0

=> 2S - R = 0

=> R = 2S

=> R /S  = 2  : 1
