Suresh's share in the profit is 31920.

Given: Ramesh and Suresh are partners in the ratio of 3: 2. Before profit distribution, 'Ramesh is entitled to 5% commission of the net profit.

To find: We have to find Suresh's share in profit.

Solution:

Before charging a commission, the firm's profit was 84,000.

Ramesh is entitled to a 5% commission of the net profit.

Thus the commission of Ramesh is

84000 \times \frac{5}{100} =42 00

Now the profit is-

84000 - 4200 =79800

Now Suresh's share will be 2/5 of profit.

79800 \times \frac{2}{5} = 31920

Thus Suresh's share in the profit is 31920.
