Explanation -:

Given:

  • Cost price of the jeep = ₹ 5,60,000
  • Money spend on its accessories = ₹ 15,000
  • Selling price of the jeep = ₹ 7,00,000

To Find :

  • Profit%

Solution :

Net C.P. of the jeep = (5,60,000 + 15,000)

= 5,75,000

Since, S.P. > C.P. , it's a gain

 \large\rm{ \green{ Gain= S.P - C. P. }}

Gain = (7,00,000 - 5,75,000) = 1,25,000

 \large\rm{ \blue{Gain\% = \frac{Gain}{C.P.}× 100}}

 \small\rm{Gain\% =  \frac{125000}{575000} \times 100  = 21.73\%}

 \large\fbox{ {Gain\% = 21.73\%}}

NOTE :

  • C.P. means Cost Price
  • S.P. means Selling Price

\rule{ 70mm}{2pt}

 \large\fbox{ \fbox{Additional \:  Information}}

 • \: \small\rm{Loss = CP - SP}

• \:  \small\rm{Loss\% = \frac{Loss}{CP}× 100}
