Given :

17 containers = shop A.

13 containers = shop B.

Each container = $ 150.

According to the question :

Ramesh buys 17 containers from Shop A :

  • 1 container costs = $ 150.

He buys 13 containers of same juice in Shop B :

  • 1 container costs = $ 150.

Let the amount be ' x '.

Total money spent by Ramesh :

=> $ [ ( 17x × 150 ) + ( 13x × 150 ) ]

=> $ [ 150x × ( 17 + 13 ) ]

=> $ 150x × 30

=> $ 4500.

  • Money spent = $ 4500.

  • The capacity of each container is same and the cost of eachof the container $150 .

Find:-

Solution:-

  • We know the cost of each container is $ 150 .

{ From given }

so now,

  • x = $ 2550

  • y = $ { 13 × 150 }
  • y = $ 1950

=> Total money spent by
