Ramesh earns Rs. 40000 per month . He spends 3/8 of the income on food, 1/5 of the remaining on LIC premium and then 1/2 of the remaing on other expenses. Find how much money is left with him?

Hii there!!!

Money earned= Rs. 40000
Money spent on food=3/8×40000= Rs. 15000
Money remaining= 40000-15000= Rs. 25000
Money used on LIC premium= 1/5×25000= Rs. 5000
Money remaining= 25000-5000= Rs. 20000
Money spent on other expenses= 1/2×20000= Rs. 10000

Money remaining= 20000-10000= Rs. 10000 ans
