The water can be used for 3 days.

Explanation:

Given : The quantity of water in tank = 600 liters.

The total water expenses of family per day= 20 buckets.

capacity of each bucket = 10 liters

Then, the capacity of 20 buckets = 20 x (capacity of each bucket)

= 20 x (10) = 200 liters

i.e. the total water expenses of family per day = 200 liters

Now , the number of days water can be used = ( quantity of water in tank  ) ÷ (total water expenses of family per day )

= (600 liters)÷ (200 liters) = 3

Hence, the water can be used for 3 days.
