Gastro, also known as 'infectious diarrhea', is caused due to the 'inflammation of stomach' and 'small intestine'. Since gastro is generally caused by virus, it’s important to be alert not to infect from the flu.

In order to not get infected from the suffering family member, we need to

• Use soap water after using the toilet and before consuming any food.
• Wash the vegetables and fruits thoroughly before consuming.
• Clean the bathroom thoroughly after being used. Use gloves while cleaning the infected area.
• Make a practice to wash hands thoroughly before eating.
• Avoid eating raw meat which is inappropriate for digestion.
