Ramesh is driving his car with a uniform speed of 80 km/hr. Draw the time distance

graph. Form the graph find the distance travelled by him in.

i. 1 ½ hr

Given :

• Speed (s) = 80 km/hr
• time (t) = 1 ½ hr or 1.5 hr and 3 hr.

★ Formula :

Distance = $\frac {Speed}{time}$

★ Case i) :

We know that,

Distance = $\frac {speed}{time}$

Distance = $\frac {80}{1.5}$

$\boxed{Distance = 53.33 m}$

★ Case ii) :

We know that,

Distance = $\frac {speed}{time}$

Distance = $\frac {80}{3}$

$\boxed{Distance = 26.6 m}$

•°• The distance travelled by ramesh when t = 1½ hr at speed = 80 km/hr is 53.33m .
