40 kg rice at Rs 16.50 per kg
CP = 40 ×16.50 = Rs 660
35 kg of rice at Rs 15 per kg
CP = 35×15 = Rs 525
Total CP = 660 + 525 = Rs 1185
profit = 25% of 1185 = Rs 296.25
SP = CP + Profit = 1185 + 296.25 = Rs 1481.25
Total quantity =40+ 35 = 75 kg
Rate = SP/total quantity = 1481.25/75 = Rs 19.75
To gain 25% profit, Ramesh has to sell at Rs 19.75 per kg.
