LCM 7 x 5 = 35

Ramesh = 2/7 = 10/35

Swathi = 4/5 = 28/35

so Ramesh did less

Given that part of an exercise solved by Ramesh = (2/7).

Given that part of an exercise solved by Solve = (4/5).

Now,

We have to find the LCM of denominators i.e 7 and 5.

LCM(7,5) = 35.

Now, we have to find the equivalent fractions of both the denominators.

⇒ (2/7) = (2 * 5)/(7 * 5) = 10/35

⇒ (4/5) = (4 * 7)/(5 * 7) = 28/35.

Since , 10 < 28.

So, (10/35) < (28/35)

⇒ (2/7) < (4/5)

Therefore, Ramesh solved the lesser part.

Hope this helps!
