2) Deposited remaining 14000 in Fixed Deposit.
Find
Monthly income
Solution
Let the monthly income of Ramesh be Rs. x
We are given that
He spent 65% of his monthly income on expenses = 65/100 * x = 65x/100
Remaining Left / Money deposited as Fixed Deposited = 14000
So,
Expenses + Fixed Deposit = Total
65x/100 + 14000 = x
14000 = x - 65x/100
14000 = 35x/100
35x/100 = 14000
x = (14000 * 100)/35
x = 40000
Ramesh Monthly income is Rs. 40000.
